How to run a model with the tracking system

Currently, Vega Prime (via trackD) and Unity 3D (via VRPN) software are working with the tracking system.

Vega Prime

  1. Place the tracked glasses with the interaction device (Flystick or x-box) within the range of tracking cameras
    • If using x-box, turn on the controller by pressing the round power button until it turns green)
  2. Locate the "Tracking" folder on the Desktop of the console machine
  3. Start the DTrack2 software
  4. Click "Connect" in the window to connect to the tracking PC
  5. Click "Start" button in the upper left corner to start tracking (yellow plus signs in the camera windows mean that the tracked devices are in a good range)
  6. Start trackd_art_flystick.bat (or trackd_art_xbox**.bat) to connect the interaction device
  7. Start the Vega Prime model (examples in the same window)
